In 2014, I worked on a Smash Bros. themed screenpack for M.U.G.E.N but it was never released. until now.

The roster you see in the screenshots are the ones that are in game itself! Plenty of fighters to choose from. They're also divided.
On the left side it's all Nintendo characters (plus some from Rare, even though they're now owned by Microsoft) and on the right side it's all 3rd Party characters, plus anime fighters. Then in the middle you got some original fighters. (Maybe on a later date I'll replace some of these fighters with better ones but for now this is good.) As far as stages go, not all of the fighters have a home stage. I forgot to add them.
Not only that. but now you can do 3 vs. 3 and 4 vs. 4 matches! (Just a heads up, it's best to use them on Watch mode because if you try using them on Vs. Mode, you'll control all 3/4 fighters at once.) I didn't make that mod, I just added because it's cool. It's the closest thing to Smash Wii U's 8-Player Smash.
For the Lifebars, I created some extra voicepacks which include the announcers from the PAL version of Smash 4. (Japanese announcer is also included!)
I also included the announcers from Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax and Jojo's Bizarre Adventures: Eyes of Heaven.
(The game is pretty huge. you'll have to make some space on your pc. It's about 8GB in total!)
All the characters belong to their rightful owners.
